Governor Pat McCrory has proclaimed May 3-11, 2014, as Tourism Week in North Carolina. To kick off Cabarrus County’s breakfast celebration Sharon Allred Decker, North Carolina Secretary of Commerce, will visit Where Racing Lives to present newly released data on tourism’s impact on the North Carolina economy in 2013. Destination research expert Berkeley Young will also deliver a presentation on tourism in Cabarrus County.
