(August 26, 2014) – Concord, NC— The Cabarrus County Convention and Visitors Bureau is proud to announce Samantha Fisk as Visitor Services Manager and welcome Sophia Costner as Executive Assistant.

“We’re thrilled to have such talented and enthusiastic individuals like Samantha and Sophia to represent our destination and serve our visitors and community,” said Donna Carpenter, President/CEO of the Cabarrus County CVB.

Prior to joining the Bureau’s team, Fisk served as Marketing Manager at Texas Roadhouse in Concord. She is a native of Cabarrus County and has over ten years of experience in customer service. Fisk received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in Marketing from Catawba College in 2010. In August, she earned the first of three certificates from the Southeast Tourism Society’s Marketing College program toward becoming a certified Travel Marketing Professional (TMP).

Sophia Costner joins the Bureau’s team as Executive Assistant with over ten years of experience in administrative roles. Costner began her career at the Stanly County Chamber of Commerce/Convention & Visitors Bureau serving as Administrative Assistant for over three years. Most recently, she served as a Student Mentor and Student Government Association Advisor at Stanly Community College. There, she also worked as Executive Assistant to the President and Foundation and in 2012, received an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration.
