June 21, 2024CONCORD, N.C. (May 24, 2024) – The latest edition of the official travel resource for Concord, Harrisburg, Kannapolis, Midland and Mt. Pleasant, North Carolina is now available from the Cabarrus County Convention & Visitors Bureau.
The annual publication is free and serves as a resource for visitors and locals alike to discover the area’s attractions, historic sites, places to shop and dine, events, and more. The helpful information inside is accompanied by extraordinary snapshots from Michael A. Anderson Photography. The design of this year’s cover was inspired by the mural located in Concord Mills and includes a QR code that gives readers easy access to the organization’s website, ExploreCabarrus.com.
“As Cabarrus County continues to grow, portraying all the wonderful experiences here in a limited number of pages becomes more of a challenge every year,” said Cabarrus County CVB President and CEO Donna Carpenter. “After being inspired by the guide, we encourage everyone to continue planning and engaging with our community online. There’s more to CabarrUS, and we can’t wait to help you explore it all.”
The arrival of the guide comes on the heels of National Travel & Tourism Week and during the heart of race week in Concord as the destination welcomes fans from across the globe to Charlotte Motor Speedway for the 65th running of the Coca-Cola 600 on May 26. National Travel & Tourism Week, held on May 19-25 in 2024, is an annual industry tradition that celebrates the value travel holds for our economy, businesses, communities, and personal well-being.
