Free resource from Explore Cabarrus inspires travel and offers helpful information for experiencing the area’s five communities

CONCORD, N.C. (May 20, 2026) – The latest edition of the official travel resource for Concord, Harrisburg, Kannapolis, Midland and Mount Pleasant, North Carolina is now available from the Cabarrus County Convention & Visitors Bureau. The annual publication serves as a reference for visitors and locals alike to discover the destination’s attractions, events, historic sites, restaurants, shops and more.

“No matter where you choose to go or what pace you prefer to explore, the Destination Guide is the ultimate tool for making the most of your time here,” said Cabarrus County CVB President and CEO Donna Carpenter. “From sparking interest to delivering key details for planning a trip, each page is designed to assist visitors with finding their next adventure and creating unforgettable memories.”

With racing featured on the cover, the new guide puts Cabarrus County’s signature offering center stage. This year, readers can go beyond the book by scanning QR codes for a digital experience that provides a deeper dive into each community and the motorsports scene.

Along with maps, listings, itineraries and an autograph page, the publication also includes vibrant images captured by Michael A. Anderson Photography, bringing to life Cabarrus County’s unique combination of community spirit, adrenaline-pumping activities and relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

The arrival of the guide comes at the start of Memorial Day Weekend, as the destination welcomes fans from across the globe to Charlotte Motor Speedway for the 67th running of the Coca-Cola 600 on May 24.
