2024 Cabarrus Burger Madness Winner - The Eatery at Southern Strain Brewing Company

Month-long event showcases creativity of local chefs with more irresistible burger creations than ever before

CONCORD, N.C. (January 24, 2025) – For the fifth consecutive year, Cabarrus County’s month-long celebration of local culinary creativity will kick off on March 1. During Cabarrus Burger Madness, diners are invited to indulge in limited-time burgers at participating restaurants and cast a vote for their favorite. The 2025 contest takes place from March 1-31 and has the most participating restaurants to date.

Diners can track their tasty tour of Cabarrus County and unlock the ability to vote for their favorite burger with the free Cabarrus Burger Madness mobile pass. Stay tuned to ExploreCabarrus.com for details on how to sign up coming soon.

“It’s hard to believe we’re already celebrating the fifth year of Cabarrus Burger Madness,” said Donna Carpenter, Cabarrus County CVB President and CEO. “The significance of this fun competition goes far beyond the burgers, so we’re thrilled to see the continued enthusiasm and support for Cabarrus County’s local restaurants. We encourage everyone to get out and try this year’s outstanding offerings. Don’t miss out!”

Cabarrus Burger Madness 2025 promises more burger creations than ever before with 20 local restaurants participating. Among the contenders are returning champions Southern Strain Brewing Company and Johnny Roger’s BBQ & Burgers, as well as seven new participants.
