(October 7, 2011) – Cabarrus, NC – The Cabarrus County Convention and Visitors Bureau was recognized by the North Carolina Tourism Leadership Conference for excellence in its 2010-2011 marketing initiatives.
The Cabarrus CVB received Gold awards in the following categories:
Best Print Advertising – Leisure (Large)
Best Local Constituents Communications – Annual Report or Other Outreach (Large)

The N.C. Tourism Leadership Conference is an annual joint conference between the Destination Marketing Association of N.C. and the N.C. Travel Industry Association. Awards are given at the conference to honor and showcase best innovation, best practices, creativity, and outstanding efforts and results in destination marketing across the state.
