(August 20, 2015) – Concord, NC – The Cabarrus County Convention and Visitors Bureau is pleased to announce its 2015-16 Board of Directors Executive Committee.

Jennifer Parsley, Chairman
Current member of Concord City Council and owner of AIM Tours, Jennifer Parsley served as Treasurer on the Board’s Executive Committee in fiscal year 2014-15.

Pamela S. Dubois, Treasurer
Cabarrus County’s Deputy County Manager Pamela Dubois joined the Cabarrus County Tourism Authority Board in fiscal year 2014-15.

Tammy Trexler Whaley, Secretary
Manager of Economic Development at Duke Energy of the Carolinas, Tammy Whaley serves as Secretary for the second year after being appointed to the Board in August 2013.

“On behalf of our entire team, I’d like to thank Ray Soporowski for his outstanding leadership. As Past Chairman, he remains an important part of this organization’s success,” said Donna Carpenter, President and CEO of the Cabarrus County CVB. “We welcome Pam Dubois to the Executive Committee and are fortunate to have continued support from Tammy Whaley and Jennifer Parsley. Along with the experience and guidance of each Board Member, their talents are vital to our pursuit of excellence in the tourism industry.”

“Tourism continues to be a driving force in Cabarrus County’s local economy generating jobs and millions of dollars in state and local taxes through visitor spending each year. We look forward to growing local business, enhancing quality of life and saving residents in taxes by nurturing the strategic efforts of the CVB,” said Jennifer Parsley.
