(April 16, 2013) – Concord, NC – The Cabarrus County Convention and Visitors Bureau has released the 2013-2014 Destination Guide, the official travel resource for Concord, Kannapolis, Harrisburg, Midland and Mt. Pleasant, North Carolina.

This free publication contains 71 pages of up-to-date area information and is a comprehensive resource to the county’s attractions, lodging and shopping options, full-service restaurants, historical sites, sports and recreation facilities and much more.

“The Visit Cabarrus team takes a great deal of pride in producing such a valuable tool for visitors and residents alike,” said Donna Carpenter, President and CEO of the Cabarrus County Convention and Visitors Bureau. “The content of the Guide not only showcases Cabarrus for the exciting, diverse destination that it is, but also tells the story of our motorsports heritage.”

Because of its roots in racing and unequaled concentration of motorsports attractions, Cabarrus County is known as “Where Racing Lives.” NASCAR Artist Sam Bass is the centerpiece of the 2013-14 cover. Inside, every page features a colorful layout with vivid images that directly reflect the vibrancy of the destination.

The Destination Guide is available at the Cabarrus County Visitor Information Center, at major Cabarrus attractions, participating restaurants and in all Cabarrus County hotels. If you would like to display the Destination Guide at your place of business, please contact Visitor Services Manager, Mark D’Andrea at 704-456-7974 or Mark@VisitCabarrus.com.
