CONCORD, NC (October 22, 2018) – The Cabarrus County Convention and Visitors Bureau has released the third cover of the 2018-19 Cabarrus County, NC Destination & Motorsports Guide.

Just in time for holiday shopping, the cover instantly connects users with eight creative locals who represent a vibrant community of makers in Cabarrus County. Grab a guide, see these personalities pop off the page with augmented reality, and add some inspired local goods to your list.

This year, the official travel resource for Concord, Kannapolis, Harrisburg, Midland and Mt. Pleasant features four covers. Released quarterly, each cover builds on the “People of Cabarrus” concept introduced in 2017-18 by highlighting local groups who aid in making memories—Thrill Seekers, Foodies, Creators and Tastemakers.

Access exclusive videos and “meet the crews” of Cabarrus County, NC by following three simple steps:

  1. Download the free Visit Cabarrus app on the App Store or Google Play.
  2. Hover the device over the faces of each person pictured on the front and inside cover.
  3. Follow the prompts on screen for an all-new, enhanced experience!

While the front and inside covers have a new look, readers will find the same helpful contents inside each edition. Packed with information and inspiration, the 76-page publication is a free, comprehensive resource to the county’s attractions, lodging and shopping options, full-service restaurants, historical sites, sports and recreation facilities and more.
