CONCORD, NC (September 27, 2019) – The Cabarrus County Convention and Visitors Bureau has promoted Rebecca Powell to Visitor Services Coordinator. Powell joined the CVB team in September 2018 as a Travel Counselor with the Visitor Services department.
“Rebecca has done an outstanding job as part of the Visitor Services team and we’re excited to have her assisting our visitors in an even greater capacity,” said Cabarrus County CVB President and CEO, Donna Carpenter.
In her role as Visitor Services Coordinator, Powell greets and assists guests at the Visitor Center on Weddington Road in Concord and at the CVB’s satellite Visitor Center inside Concord-Padgett Regional Airport.
Prior to joining the Visit Cabarrus team, Rebecca spent several years in management and customer service roles beginning her career in retail, serving as Terminal Manager for Duty Free Americas at Charlotte Douglas International Airport, and most recently as Assistant General Manager at Crescent Heights in Concord.
