(March 20, 2014) – Concord, NC — The Cabarrus County Convention and Visitors Bureau is excited to welcome Chacara Harvin to the team as Destination Services Manager. Chacara brings 12 years experience in the hospitality industry. In her role as Destination Services Manager, Harvin will support the operational and hospitality needs of clients requiring services from the Cabarrus County CVB and our local community partners.

“Chacara’s education and experience set her apart, and we’re fortunate to have her representing our organization,” said Donna Carpenter, President and CEO of the Cabarrus County Convention and Visitors Bureau. “We’re proud to welcome her to the Bureau’s team.”Harvin graduated from Johnson & Wales University (JWU) in Charleston, SC with an Associate’s degree in Travel & Tourism Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management.

She later obtained a Master’s degree in Business and Marketing from University of Phoenix. Prior to joining the Cabarrus County CVB, Chacara served as a Catering Manager for FDY, Inc. in Charlotte, NC.
