Seeing is believing.

And we believe seeing and doing are the first essential steps employees of the hospitality industry must take before educating visitors about a destination! Join us for a first-hand look at what makes Cabarrus County unique. Step inside points of interest throughout the area and build your knowledge of the destination to relay the experience and encourage visitors to explore and extend their stay.

About Destination Training

Led by the Cabarrus County CVB’s Partnership & Visitor Services department, Destination Training tours are designed to arm front-line sales and services staff members with everything visitors want to know about our area and more. Cabarrus County’s travel and tourism industry employed over 4,410 people in 2022, and these tours offer those who interact with visitors an opportunity to discover free knowledge, tips and resources.

This single-day training tour is complimentary to hospitality partners. Tour begins where a visitor’s journey should begin—inside the Cabarrus County Visitor Information Center. After continental breakfast and introduction to the Visitor Center, the tour departs for a variety of the area’s must-see attractions, venues, museums, shops and more. Each tour goes hand in hand with the Official Cabarrus County, NC Destination Guide and participants will also have the opportunity to network with other hospitality partners.
