CONCORD, NC (April 21, 2016) –The latest edition of the official travel resource for Concord, Kannapolis, Harrisburg, Midland and Mount Pleasant, NC is now available from the Cabarrus County Convention and Visitors Bureau.

“The Cabarrus County Destination Guide goes beyond the purpose of providing information,” said Donna Carpenter, President/CEO of the Cabarrus County CVB. “It serves as a storybook meant to inspire travelers and residents alike, and it becomes a keepsake of their experiences here.”

This year’s new edition highlights our area’s motorsports heritage with vivid imagery including the cover photo of the Dale Earnhardt Tribute Plaza captured by local photographer Michael Anderson. The 74-page publication is a free, comprehensive resource to the county’s attractions, lodging and shopping options, full-service restaurants, historical sites, sports and recreation facilities and more.

The 2016-17 Destination Guide release comes as Concord prepares to welcome visitors from all but two states in the U.S. and nine countries as far as Australia, Germany, New Zealand, Brazil and more during the sixth annual NHRA 4-Wide Nationals at zMAX Dragway this weekend.

To browse the digital Destination Guide now and request a hard copy, go to VisitCabarrus.com.

The Destination Guide is also available at the Cabarrus County Visitor Information Center, major Cabarrus attractions, participating restaurants and in all Cabarrus County hotels. If you would like to offer the Destination Guide at your location, contact Amber Furr at 704-456-7974.
