CONCORD, N.C. (August 23, 2023) – The official destination website of Cabarrus County, North Carolina is all-new. A resource with information and inspiration for visitors, ExploreCabarrus.com showcases the area by pairing vibrant imagery and helpful content with enhanced user experience and improved site navigation.
“Just like our annual Destination Guide, ExploreCabarrus.com is a tool that was designed to inspire and assist travelers as well as residents,” said Cabarrus County Convention & Visitors Bureau President and CEO Donna Carpenter. “We’re thrilled to utilize the capabilities of this new platform to amplify the stories of our hospitality partners and grow travel to this five-star destination. The website is an extension of how we serve our visitors and community, and we hope it leads everyone to exciting new experiences as they Explore Cabarrus for themselves.”
The website was developed in partnership with the organization’s digital marketing agency Casual Astronaut whose expertise was essential to creating an engaging, responsive site. The collaborative effort resulted in a dynamic digital outlet that conveys a sense of place and communicates the destination’s unique experiences.
An interactive map on the homepage encourages exploration of the county’s five municipalities of Concord, Harrisburg, Kannapolis, Midland, and Mt. Pleasant. Local business listings provide details on where to dine, shop, stay and experience everything from the area’s historic sites to its exclusive motorsports attractions. Curated articles and itineraries can be found on the editorial-style content hub The Drift, and additional features include an event calendar, resources for meeting and event planners, and more.
As the next phase of the Cabarrus County CVB’s rebrand, the website reflects the elements shared in the August 2022 brand launch and builds on the new tagline, “There’s More to Us.”
