Officials and hospitality partners gathered at the Cabarrus County Visitor Center in Concord, NC on Monday, October 2 to cut the ribbon and celebrate the official launch of Cabarrus County’s new craft beverage trail, Explore and Pour.

Celebrate NC Beer Month and earn prizes with the free mobile passport

CONCORD, N.C. (October 2, 2023) – With the start of North Carolina Beer Month, Explore Cabarrus celebrates the official launch of Cabarrus County’s new beverage trail, Explore and Pour. The free, incentivized mobile passport program guides visitors to craft beverage experiences across the destination including breweries, wineries, a cidery, distillery and more.hat with glass of beer

“This destination is home to so many incredible makers and small business owners and we’re excited to further showcase their passion and expertise through the new trail,” says Cabarrus County CVB President and CEO Donna Carpenter. “We’re thrilled to see how locals and visitors utilize this free passport to discover and rediscover why Cabarrus is such a great place to explore through our vibrant beer, wine and spirits scene.”QR code

Explore & Pour was created in partnership with travel technology platform Bandwango. Users can sign up online by visiting ExploreCabarrus.com or by scanning the QR found in the free Cabarrus County, NC Destination Guide to receive a mobile passport via text or email. No app download is required and once signed in, participants can check-in at participating locations on their mobile device. Each check-in earns points that can later be redeemed for prizes at the Cabarrus County Visitor Center located at 10099 Weddington Road Ext., Suite 102 in Concord.
