CONCORD, N.C. (July 7, 2021) –  The Cabarrus County Convention & Visitors Bureau welcomes Erin Hicks as Visitor Services Manager. In this role, Hicks oversees operations of the Cabarrus County Visitor Center in Concord and manages logistics to represent Cabarrus County at local and regional events.

2020 Visitor Impact for Cabarrus County, North Carolina

County Spending Decreases by 44.2 Percent to $287.5 Million CONCORD, N.C. (November 2, 2021) – Domestic and international visitors to and within Cabarrus County spent $287.5 million in 2020, a decrease of 44.2 percent from 2019. The data comes from an annual study commissioned by Visit North Carolina, a unit of the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina.

Flyover bridge enhances travel experience on Concord Mills Boulevard

CONCORD, N.C. (December 20, 2021) – Enhancements to the travel experience in Cabarrus County continue with the opening of the flyover bridge at Concord Mills. Local leaders gathered for a ribbon cutting on Monday morning to mark the opening of the bridge which occurred at the end of November prior to Black Friday.
