CONCORD, NC (November 3, 2016) — The Cabarrus County Convention and Visitors Bureau welcomes Katie Eagle as Sales Manager. In this role, Katie will be responsible for social, military, educational, religious and fraternal group meetings and events, as well as the sports, motor coach and car club markets.

Katie Eagle joined the Cabarrus County CVB in 2016 after serving as Director of Sales for Crestline Hotels & Resorts at the Courtyard by Marriott Carolina Beach Oceanfront Resort and Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach.

“The combination of Katie’s training, skills, experience and personality make her a great asset to our tourism community,” said Donna Carpenter, President and CEO of the Cabarrus County CVB.

A native of North Carolina, Eagle graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications Studies with concentrations in Public Relations and Integrated Marketing Communication. She has also completed Master Connections Associates and Marriott issued sales training programs and is currently a member of the North Carolina Sports Association serving on the Governmental Relations committee.
