CONCORD, N.C. (September 21, 2022) – The Cabarrus County Convention & Visitors Bureau welcomes Nick Dorney as Visitor Services Manager. In this role, Dorney oversees operations of the Cabarrus County Visitor Information Center in Concord and manages logistics to represent the destination at local and regional events.

CONCORD, N.C. (September 16, 2022) – Domestic and international visitors to and within Cabarrus County spent $480.8 million in 2021, an increase of 67.2 percent from 2020. The data comes from an annual study commissioned by Visit North Carolina, a unit of the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina.

The Cabarrus County CVB is among over 200 destination organizations who have obtained DMAP recognition, fewer than 10% of which earned “Accreditation with Distinction” CONCORD, N.C. County Spending Decreases by 44.2 Percent to $287.5 Million CONCORD, N.C. (November 2, 2021) – Domestic and international visitors to and within Cabarrus County spent $287.5 million in 2020, a decrease of 44.2 percent from 2019. The data comes from an annual study commissioned by Visit North Carolina, a unit of the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina.
